Last week we asked you what is the most important thing (or feature) you're looking for in new My Little Pony lines. The most popular subject is something that we hear a lot in the comments: over 33% of you primarily want to see new characters get a release. Right after that, with 30%, is the overall design of the figure and almost 22% prefer show accurate figures. All other votes, which included a good price (7%) scored much lower and can be seen in the full list of results above.
And from that conclusion we jump right to the actual new line of 2018, which was ironically announced a day later.

This week we'd like to know whether you think the Cutie Mark Crew figures are the cutest figures by Hasbro to date or not! Can these win it from the Playskool figures? Or perhaps your favorite blind bags? Let us know!

MLP Merch Store Finds #47: Canvas Prints, Pirate Fluttershy, Clip & Go + Much More!

We have a relatively small update on store finds this week, as we're clearly in a gap between the final sets from 2017 and the first mayor lines of 2018. Still, there are some cool updates that we can share today, so keep on reading for the latest updates from the aisles!

US - G1 and G4 Canvas Prints

If these look familiar, you're right! A few posts ago we talked about the Mystery Posters that were found at 5 Below, and these canvas prints use some of those designs too. In addition they've added glitter on the prints and there's a G1 variant available too. Exact measurements are unknown, but you can find them at Meijers.

US - Rainbow Dash Lamp at Target

Not sure if this is a new find, but this lamp is definitely sweet! The base is a very detailed Rainbow Dsah figure, and the lampshade is cute too! It's sold at Target, and while the images doesn't show it, online the Rainbow Dash lamp is available for $28.49 during the current sale.

The Netherlands - Twilight Sparkle's Undersea Carriage

And then a quick update from ourselves! Over at Intertoys you should now be able to find the Undersea Carriage with a cute dolphin and seapony Twilight Sparkle figure. This particular one was found at the store in Alkmaar.

US - Guardians of Harmony Pirate Fluttershy

I know a lot of people were looking for this, so we're happy to announce that the pirate Fluttershy figure from the Guardians of Harmony line is now available at Walmart! As always, availability can differ for every store. And of course feel free to support fellow collectors in the comments with your finds.

Singapore - Massive Update at Toys"R"Us

We're glad to see that some of the recently announced stuff for 2018, while already being available on Amazon, is now also popping up in stores. While it's still only Singapore right now, this is a good sign for a quick release in other countries as well. Something that was interesting to see is how large the Clip and Go plush actually are! Releases further include the Tempest Shadow plush, new Flitter Celebration princesses, Land & Sea ponies, Spinning Skirt figures and the latest Playskool playsets.

Last week we asked you whether you are going to buy any of the Equestria Girls Minis Vinyl figures, a brand new line that's set to appear in stores early this year. We see a very large doubt in the votes, resulting in a very neutral result: 28% doesn't like them, 25% is unsure, 26% is mildly enthusiastic and 17% is dedicated to get them all. Usually we see a spike in the positive votes, but not this time as 'No, because of the design' got most of the votes, with only 'Maybe' coming close in second place. Perhaps the general opinion will shift once they've hit the shelves?

This week we'd like to ask you a hypothetical question. It's the start of 2018, and not a lot is known about Hasbro's plans for this year's line-up yet. Once this is known, what is the most important feature of a new line to get you interested in buying the figures? And yes, to make things interesting you're only allowed to select one answer!

Luckily we're starting to get a bit more variation with merch around MLP The Movie that's being released right now, which this week include ice cream, seapony fabric, an ornament and an update about the latest UK MLP Magazine. US - Pinkie Pie Christmas Ornament

It sounds a bit odd in the summer, but this is a very common moment for companies to release their new ornaments. Some only announce them, but Hallmark is known to have a wide availability of ornaments throughout the year. This Pinkie Pie has been spotted at Walmart and is, as far as we know, a new release. She's not the only new ornament this year, Hallmark also released a G1 Moondancer, which was spotted a few weeks ago.

US - Seaponies Fabric

I have no idea whether this is something common in the US (it seems so, as there are more types in the photo), but at Walmart you can also get fabric with seapony version of the mane 6 and spike, to make your own creations in Seaquestria style! Pricing is unknown, but those who commonly buy fabric for projects might know what it's commonly sold for.

UK - New UK MLP Magazine

The latest MLP magazine in the UK comes with something rather interesting: A translucent Twilight Sparkle mannequin. I wouldn't call it a figure, technically, as it lacks details and comes with a stand, but it does look pretty and special. It's called a "Twilight's Gala Fashion Set" and comes with fabric and accessories to create your own gala dress.
Also included is a two-sided poster of both MLP The Movie and "Glam Squad" and of course there's a magazine somewhere in there too.

US - Luigi's MLP The Movie Ice Cream

Movies are always a big opportunity for new license deals, and this is yet another example of that. Luigi's partnered up with Hasbro to release this box of MLP The Movie ice cream, which was found at Kroger. I don't think any new flavors have been introduced, but the box sure does look pretty!

We've gotten loads of submits for the Pearlized Brushables that have been released last week, but also a few other items that can be found in stores. Enjoy!

US - Pearlized Brushables

The pearlized brushables saw a pretty slow release, but have been confirmed to be available at Walmart now. All characters from the first wave (Coloratura, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Starlight Glimmer) can be picked up for $4.84 each. (Thanks to Sarah)
We know that Wave 2 has been spotted at Target, so we're not really sure how new this is.

Ireland - Pearlized Brushables

Over in Ireland it's time for the second wave of pearlized brushables, featuring Cherry Berry, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. They're available for €6,99 at Smyths. (Thanks to Sharon)

US - Pearlized Nurse Redheart

And the final pearlized-themed store find is the Nurse Readheart brushables, which is a Walgreens exclusive figure. You can get her for just under $5. (Thanks to Victor)

US - Guardians of Harmony

The larger Guardians of Harmony sets are now officially on display at Walmart. Spike the Dragon and Cheese Sandwich can be found at the large display as seen above, but other sets are available at Walmart as well. (Thanks to Victor)

Australia - Cutie Mark Activities Coloring Book

The new MLP logo has started to appear in various stores and countries, and Australia got their introduction to the new logo as well with the release of the Cutie Mark Activities coloring book. It can be found at Big W stores. (Thanks to Moonlight Shadow)

UK: Explore Equestria Action Friends & Fashion Styles

The first wave of Explore Equestria Action Friends have been released in the UK, as well as the Starlight Glimmer and Sapphire Shores fashion styles. (Thanks to Lora)

Ireland: Equestria Girls Minis & Sparkle Brights

The Fall Formal Minis, including DJ Pon-3, Flash Sentry and the Dance Party Set have been spotted at Smyths, and the Sparkle Brights Princess Cadance and Princess Luna too. (Thanks to Sharon)

Canada: Action Friends (online)
